Jarvis5.0 Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 20, 2026

Jarvis5.0 (“the App,” “we,” “us”) is developed by Michael Valaris. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data when you use the App.

The short version: Jarvis5.0 does not collect, store, sell, or transmit your personal data to us. Everything the App does with your camera and microphone happens on your device, for the sole purpose of running the on-screen experience in that moment.

1. Information the App Accesses

The App requests the following device permissions, and only uses them as described:

Camera. Jarvis5.0 uses your device's camera to display a live video feed and to analyze that feed, on-device, for visually prominent objects — this is what drives the animated targeting reticle. Camera frames are processed in real time using Apple's on-device Vision framework and are never recorded, saved, uploaded, or transmitted anywhere. Nothing from the camera feed leaves your device.

Microphone and Speech Recognition. After a high threat-level alert (a simulated, in-app event — see the Terms and Conditions), the App briefly listens for a spoken “yes” or “no” response, for up to about 8 seconds. This audio is processed using Apple's Speech framework to convert your words to text so the App can react. Depending on your device and settings, this speech-to-text processing may be performed entirely on-device, or Apple's Speech Recognition service may process the audio on Apple's servers — this is standard behavior for apps that use Apple's Speech framework and is governed by Apple's own privacy practices, not ours. We do not receive, store, or have access to this audio or its transcription; it is used transiently by the App to detect “yes”/“no” and then discarded. The microphone is only active during that brief listening window, never continuously.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Jarvis5.0 has no account system, no login, no user profiles, and no backend server operated by us. We do not collect:

The App contains no third-party advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics SDKs.

3. Data Storage

The App does not persistently store any personal data, camera footage, or audio recordings, on your device or elsewhere. Diagnostic readouts, “threat level” assessments, and similar on-screen content shown by the App are generated locally and are simulated for entertainment purposes — see the Terms and Conditions for more on this. Nothing is written to a database, log file, or external service.

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on frameworks provided by Apple Inc. (Vision, Speech, AVFoundation) that run as part of iOS. Apple's handling of any data processed through the Speech Recognition service (see Section 1) is governed by Apple's own privacy policy, available at apple.com/legal/privacy. We do not integrate any other third-party services, SDKs, or APIs.

5. Children's Privacy

Jarvis5.0 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children, consistent with Section 2 above (we don't collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age).

6. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or retain any personal data, there is generally no personal data of yours for us to access, correct, delete, or export on your behalf. If you have questions about how the App handles permissions or data, contact us using the information below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the App's functionality changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
