BopVid Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: October 17, 2026

1. About These Terms

These terms are an agreement between you and The Digital Bubble (“we”, “us”), the developer of BopVid (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.

These terms apply together with Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard App Store EULA). If the two conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add features. We’ll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the App or the App Store release notes. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the updated terms.

2. Using the App

Licence. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store’s Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the App, except where the law says you can.

Your videos are yours. Everything you record and edit stays on your device. We don’t receive, store or claim any rights in your videos, edits or music choices. You’re responsible for keeping your own copies.

Music and other people’s work. BopVid plays and edits songs from your own music library. Owning or streaming a song lets you listen to it; it doesn’t automatically give you the right to publish it in a video. Before you share a video publicly, make sure you have the rights or permissions needed for the music, and for anything else in it that belongs to someone else. Social apps may mute or remove videos that use copyrighted music. Apple Music streaming songs are protected and can’t be edited as a separate layer in BopVid.

People in your videos. Get permission before filming or sharing people, and follow local laws about recording others.

Acceptable use. Don’t use the App to create or share content that is illegal, infringes someone’s rights, harasses or harms others, or breaks the rules of the platforms you share to.

3. Other Apps and Purchases

Sharing. When you share to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or another app, your video is handed to that app and their terms and privacy policies apply from then on. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for them.

Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the App fails to meet any applicable warranty, you can tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Purchases. Any purchases are made and billed through the App Store under Apple’s terms, including refunds. Cancel subscriptions (if offered) in your Apple Account settings.

4. Our Responsibilities and Yours

Your consumer rights. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can’t be excluded. Where the law lets us limit our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the App again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

The App as it is. Apart from those rights, the App is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can’t promise it will be error-free or always available, or that it will work with every song, device or iOS version. Some features, such as Cinematic mode, only work on supported iPhones and iOS versions.

Keep backups. Save finished videos to Photos. Unsaved takes are temporary and are removed when you discard them or close the editor.

Limits. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost videos, data or profits, arising from your use of the App.

Ending use. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it. If you seriously breach these terms, your licence ends.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that state. If you live elsewhere, you also keep the protections of your local consumer laws.
